Description
Go to https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/xx.html, choose a country, and find the following rates: Birth, Death, and Net Immigration for the most current year. Use the rates and the current population to find the number of each category expected for that year – use ratio tables and be sure to attach them to your answer.
A Microsoft Excel spreadsheet is required for this DQ.
I have attached the Excel spreadsheet that I started on. I need help with a 50-75 word explanation as well.
The country I chose to use was Barbados. Please feel free to make changes to my spreadsheet. I do not know if what I started with is correct or not.

Additional help with the discussion question. Please use Excel. Also, make sure to explain how you
arrived at your calculations.
Hello Class,
If you are looking for the number of something like birth rates and you have a ratio along with the population. You
can use a proportional equation to solve. for example, if you have a population of 9,849,541 with a birth rate of
12.73 per 1000. You can set up the following equation to get the number of births for that year.
12.73 = # of births
1000 9,894,541
To solve an equation where you have a fraction equal to a fraction you cross multiply.
12.73*(9,894,541) = 1000(# of births)
Divide by 1000 to isolate your # of births
# of births, =12.73*(9,894,541)/1000 is how you would type it into Excel
