Description

  • Click on Grand City High School and access the media titled “Safety Check.”
  • Download the “Safety Walk-Through Evaluation” document. Review for familiarity and criteria for each area.
  • Watch the video of the principal and assistant principal as they conduct a safety check of the school facilities. As you watch the video, you are asked to evaluate each of the areas that are shown.
  • Using your checklist and the point values provided, evaluate each of the areas in the building in terms of its level of safety.
  • Calculate your points and provide an overall total for each area.
  • Write a 2- to 3-page paper explaining your rationale for assigning your point values, and explain your recommendations for improvement.
