THE CAPSTONE PROJECT
Abstract
The capstone project happened in at Texas-Children hospital located in the city of
Houston, Texas. The project aims at enhancing the organizational functions and operations in
addition to adopting and implementing technology in healthcare. The goals of the project are
to improve healthcare delivery and create a competent administration in the organization.
This paper will evaluate the weaknesses bad strengths in the organization in addition to
determining whether the implementation will help to eliminate the identified vulnerabilities.
There are concerns on whether existing functions worked collaboratively or not. The
findings would be necessary for the determination of harmony is realized hence help in
making the hospital overcome its current problems. The challenges range from small issues to
broader issues. Some of the minor situations include the small medical drugs, small
machines, management issues, lack of funds, donor Issues and many others. The capstone
project aims at elevating the hospital; ton higher standard such that it can be in line with the
global standards. The making of a healthier global institution will, therefore, rely on the
improvement efforts done. The study will also look into a high ethical standard observer.

Samsung is among the leading companies in the world that deals with manufacture and
supply of the electronics in the field of technology, communication, network, and video, audio,
and recording. For the past two decades, the company boasts on the manufacture of these
industries and has introduced Smartphone to the strategic plan and execution in the recent years.
The Smartphone industry is one of the most competitive industries with competitive giants such
as the Apple, HTC, Motorola, and Nokia among others (Chen, & Ann, 2016). Highly
differentiated products characterize the industry because of the continuously changing economic
needs and customer tastes and preferences. Samsung Smartphone section has intensified on the
concentration on the customer’s choice and needs being sensitive to the dynamics of the markets.
For the company to remain successful in the industry for long, and be in the top niche in the

A focus on excellent product in the market is one of the strategies that the company has
employed to make sure that their products are of high quality and satisfies the needs of the
customers across the universe. Secondly, the company is emphasizing product innovation and
improvement to sooth the international market which is dynamic (Chen, & Ann, 2016). For
example, the unveiling of the Samsung edge, with a curved screen gave the company a much
competitive advantage to the innovation, excellence, and quality and therefore continued to
become the best in the industry.

Samsung is continuously expanding its market across the world with the Smartphone
reaching all the countries in the world. Developing the foundational market provides the
company with an added advantage of taking advantage of the industry in the sense that the
company’s products can be found at almost every store in the world and thereby increasing the
profitability.

The increasing improvements in Samsungs production of the products connect the
company with the cheapest suppliers of their raw materials. In this case, the company creates and
takes advantage of the economies of scope. Primarily, according to (Vecchiato, 2015), this helps
to increase the level of profits and the company remains at the top as one of the best Smartphone
dealers.
Future strategies
The competitive Smartphone requires that the company invest in continuous innovation
of the product to, at least add, something new to the product. Samsung Smartphone electronics
concentrates on intensifying the product differentiations.
Ethical considerations
A globally recognized organization such as Samsung is sensitive about the market it
operates, therefore, employs the ethical considerations at all times. Essentially the ethical
considerations include the market mix, cultural and societal standards when it comes to the

Abstract
The capstone project happened in at Texas-Children hospital located in the city of
Houston, Texas. The project aims at enhancing the organizational functions and operations in
addition to adopting and implementing technology in healthcare. The goals of the project are
to improve healthcare delivery and create a competent administration in the organization.
This paper will evaluate the weaknesses bad strengths in the organization in addition to
determining whether the implementation will help to eliminate the identified vulnerabilities.
There are concerns on whether existing functions worked collaboratively or not. The
findings would be necessary for the determination of harmony is realized hence help in
making the hospital overcome its current problems. The challenges range from small issues to
broader issues. Some of the minor situations include the small medical drugs, small
machines, management issues, lack of funds, donor Issues and many others. The capstone
project aims at elevating the hospital; ton higher standard such that it can be in line with the
global standards. The making of a healthier global institution will, therefore, rely on the
improvement efforts done. The study will also look into a high ethical standard observer.
Such possibilities will be in effect once the organization is operating in the right way.
Moreover, the focus also covers the social responsibility of the organization.
