My Role as a Professional Counselor
In a 500 word paper, discuss the terms nonmaleficence and beneficence. How do these apply to your role as a counselor and affect your work with clients? If you are an addictions student go to the NAADAC website and if professional counseling student go to the ACA website. Review the ethical codes for counselors. Reflect upon on one instance in your practicum that you may have violated one of these codes and explain. Why is it important as a professional counselor to always abide by these codes and principles? Make sure to use APA format.
