Description
In crisis situations, counselors do not always have the time to go search for protocols and resources for clients. A crisis response portfolio can greatly assist counselors by having protocols and available resources readily identified. By using a portfolio, counselors can easily access this information, so they can provide clients with efficient, seamless service delivery.
This course will require you to create a Crisis Response Portfolio. This Portfolio Assignment will be an ongoing assignment as you will be asked to include components as they relate to the topics covered in the various modules throughout the course.
To Prepare:
- Review the Crisis Response Portfolio Template found in the Learning Resources and use this template to create your Crisis Response Portfolio for this course.
- Your portfolio must include the following sections:
- Introduction
- Part 1: Roles and Responsibilities
- Part 2: Disaster Response Resources
- Part 3: Suicide
- Part 4: Sexual Assault and Violence
